In celebration of the practice's 30th anniversary in 2019, GANS Studio is now Gans & Company.

The name pays homage to the hardware store that for 75 years belonged to Principal and Founder, Deborah Gans’ family. The name also nods to the central role that collaboration plays in our approach to socially and culturally minded architecture and design.

As Gans & Company, we reaffirm our desire to collaborate among disciplines in search of holistic and beautiful design. Whether working with community advocates, cultural organizations or engineers, their contributions are a core part of our process. Together, we aim to continue to create socially conscious and environmentally responsible designs that address contemporary concerns and realities.
