Abstract: Published Competition Project for a school and nature center

The primary school has classrooms clustered around outdoor study and play areas, which are designed to facilitate the study of nature in relation to cognitive tasks geared to each age group. The raised pathways extend the classrooms into the woods without disturbing it. The competition sought the design of a school in relation to a park that would serve as a focus of a planned suburban development.
